It was what I expected, a very basic room that was clean and quiet. There was a reasonable size double bed with a rather soft mattress. The bathroom was OK, but no bath mat so you are expected to step out of the bath directly onto the floor! Breakfast (at additional cost) was good although the vegetarian sausages were warmed to order and were not great.
Staff are excellent, food was pretty good, rooms are okay but you get what you pay for, and location is okay but you'll have to get a taxi or a bus from the hospital into town.
I have stayed here three times, every time the staff have been welcoming and helpful. Rooms have always been clean, warm and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities. Clean towels daily. I did stay for two consecutive nights the first time. Breakfast was lovely, cooked or continental choice along with cereals, fruit and toast. The beds are comfortable and large. Will stay again it is a very convenient location for me.

Cheap and cheerful. Rooms were basic but very nice sleep. No amenities in rooms (hairdryer, drinking glasses etc.) but available at reception. Service was excellent for me. Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly.
Came for 2 nights. Service brilliant. Staff fantastic especially Shelly and Lucy, couldn't do enough for us. Fantastic service. Especially to Shelly and Lucy. They both deserve lots of points. Only downside the pillows
Well located for our purposes. Spacious room. Friendly staff. My only gripe is that claims to be dog friendly, pre booked room, pet and 2 x meals, however on arrival and ordering meals were not allowed to eat in bar area as we had the dog
Room was clean but as with most places like this the room was quite warm which caused a broken night's sleep. We paid extra for the all you can eat breakfast and the food was of a good quality with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and helpful.
